I have no credit/bad credit, and have trouble even getting a department store card. Isn’t there a credit card that I can qualify for and work towards buiding my credit?
You could get a secured credit card. For example, you give them $500 and they hold it against a $500 credit limit on a card. Over time, you may become eligible for a percentage over your secured amount as you begin to build good credit.
