Does anyone no of a credit card company that will take a chance on someone with a credit score of 352 and not take advantage of me? Please let me know if you know of any credit card companys that are for bad credit but are still legit, even if they just give you a $300 limit ?

No worries. There are providers who will meet your circumstances. Remember though when you get the card have a sound debt management strategy in place. Look at credit in my profile. You should have all the resources you need.

u want credit card but do u really want to take control of you finance?

If you have applied several times and you can’t come up with $200-300 then how credit card company can trust u? Or how anyone can believe that u have ability to pay?

keep in mind one thing, DO NOT apply for card like crazy. Look for what they offer, discard bad one and go for companies who really wants to help. Aslo, DO NOT apply for cards very oftern. Once u denied, wait for about 3 months to apply another, otherwise it will have negative effect on yr score.

Best rout for you to get card with $200-300 deposit or get a joint card with someone u know. Make sure to use the card and pay the FULL amount (not the minimum due) every month, any NEVER stay behind. U will see a change in your score withing few months!

Tip: Most card companies are cheater and they play games, u can do so! when ask for things like income, rent mortgage, manipulate the numbers! They don’t verify that anyway ;)

Good luck

Try First Premiere Bank.I got a card with a $250 limit. But they will automatically take about $175 from it.No upfront money. You’ll start with a $20 monthly payment.I went ahead and paid my balance. It will help you raise your score. They also say you are eligible for review in 6 months to raise your limit.Trust me,you have to start somewhere.

Before applying for any card, start cleaning up your credit. Try disputing the older debts and see if they can be removed. Dispute as not mine only.

Try settling the debts with creditors/collectors. Only agree to pay if they are willing to remove the debt from your credit reports. If they will not put this in writing, then do not deal.

Always deal with the creditors/collectors in writing and send all mail certified return receipt.

As for the credit cards, avoid First Premier, Tribute, Rewards 660, Imagine, Tribute, and Continental Finance. These are all high fee / low limit credit cards that amount to nothing more than a scam.

Avoid Capital One. They do not report your credit limit and that damages your credit score. Example, they give you a $500 limit and you use $250, they will report your limit as $250. This will damage your credit score because instead of using 50% of your credit limit, it looks like you are using 100% of your credit limit.

So far the best card I have found for building/rebuilding credit is Orchard Bank. They have a low interest rate (14.90, good for a sub prime card), low annual fee, no hidden fees and if you manage your account properly, they give excellent credit limit increases.
