Credit Card Consolidation?

credit card consolidation

I have 4 credit cards all maxed out, I can’t seem to make anything but the minimum payment. I was wondering if credit card consolidation would be an option for me. Any help out there?

This is how debt consolidation/negotiation companies work.
They charge you a fee and tell you not to pay your bills.
In the meantime, more late charges and interest fees.
The thinking is that the companies will get nervous and settle.
Hit and miss. You can end up in court anyway from about 1/2 of the companies.

You can do this yourself.
Go to the bookstore and get a book called
credit repair for dummies
they teach you how to negotiate and bring down interest rates

You can also try your local consumer credit counceling center
Look in your local phone book for their number – not the internet.
I think their services are 100% free. They tell you what to do.
